Who is eligible to attend this summer school?

The Leeds Molecular Pathology Summer School is open to any medical student from a UK or Irish university. They can be in any year of study or intercalating

 

How much is the summer school?

The Summer School is free to attend. This includes overnight accommodation at Wood Hall hotel and all meals provided for. Travel costs will be subsidised after the event. Please retain public transport receipts.

 

You will have to give a £10 deposit to secure your place which will be returned to you on completion of the summer school before you leave.

 

Who are the speakers?

There will be a variety of academic clinicians leading the workshops and lectures from a range of academic institutions. More information will become available on our speakers page

 

Will there be networking opportunities?

Yes! This is a fantastic opportunity to network with not only academics but also medical students from throughout the UK

 

I have attended/will be attending other pathology summer schools. Can I attend this one as well?

Yes we are happy to have students who have attended multiple events.

 

How to I apply?

Please apply on our application page. Deadline is 1st May. If your application successful we will invite you to secure your place with a deposit of £10 paid via our website. You will be refunded on completion of the summer school.

 

Can I apply with a friend?

Yes there is the option to apply with a friend if you are willing to share a twin room with them. Please see the booking form if you wish to do this.

 

I have secured my place with a deposit but now I cannot attend. Can I get a refund?

Under very special circumstances we will refund deposits or let students find someone to take their place but please do not commit to a place if you are not certain of attending. This course is likely to be highly oversubscribed.
